Welcome to Sunset Park!

Greetings from west of the BQE. I decided to call the blog 'below third' and not 'west of the BQE' because I don't own a car but do ride my bike or walk on third ave everyday. This blog will focus on the industrial waterfront, since I live in the middle of it. Yes, it's dirty, but I love it. My apartment is huge and I have a rooftop garden and nice neighbors who share their BBQ and beer. I live on 4 subway lines, 2 express. I can bike to Manhattan in less than 30 minutes. Now if only zipcar would park a couple vehicles over here I'd be the happiest lady in the world.
